I also just wanted to update everyone on where we are at and what is going on. School will be starting back up soon. Haley will be a 4TH grader this year and we are so excited and so is she. She is hoping that her teacher from last year will be her teacher this year (her teacher last year is moving into fourth grade to teach). We still have a little bit of school shopping to do. She has already got her school shoes, we just have a few school supplies and some school clothes to get. As far as Jared he will be in 4K and that is very exciting as well; well he calls it "Kitergarden" but I know what he means. He did really well in 3 YR old preschool last year so I know he is going to do just as well in this. All though it is only for 3-4 hrs; it will definitely do him some good, considering he has been home all summer. Natalie will be staying home until November, when we are able to put her in full time 3 year old preschool.
I also have some fantastic news, we have decided that our kids are going to be FULLY Potty trained. Natalie & Jared both were daytime potty trained and we really have not been working on the nights, they still would get a pull up. We have now decided that we are not putting pull-ups on them, but that I would work on getting them up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom; and besides there have been a few nights already Jared went pull up free and was hardly wet in the morning. So good bye baby stuff and hello big kid stuff. Anyways Jared is going to be 5 in November and we want him to realize he is a big boy and big boys can get up to go potty in the middle of the night if they need to and who knows maybe we will put in a prize if he goes so long with not getting a diaper at night. And if there are accidents that is what washing machines are for.
Also in a few weeks; with school starting , dance class at a place called Richard School of the Dance in Oshkosh, WI ( www.richardsdancestudio.com ). It is going to be great because both Haley and Natalie are going to take dance. First class for Haley's Tap & Jazz is on the 1ST Thursday in September and it will work out great for Natalie's Tap class as well (her class is called Tiny Tots) because it is also on a Thursday. Both girls will get costumes this year and be in the recital at the end of the "dance year" which will be May or June 2010. So very exciting stuff coming up and if you want to see what kind of dance studio this is for those that have not heard about it -check out the website they have pictures from last years recital.
I also wanted to say that last weekend we went to WI Dells to the Wilderness; which is by far one of our favorite places to go there. We had a ton of fun with everyone and I know we are going to be making more frequent trips to visit Dennis's family in IL more often; with the next being in October for Pumpkin Picking.
